Anssumane “Ansu” Fati Vieira was born on October 31, 2002. With his parents and two brothers (Braima and Miguel), he moved to Herrera, Seville when he was six years old. At 10, Ansu Fati joined Barcelona’s La Masia in 2012, after playing for local side Herrera and Sevilla’s minor squads. His brother had made a similar move the year before.On July 24, 2019, Ansu Fati signed his first professional deal with Barcelona, which runs until 2022. He made his first-team and La Liga debut on August 25, 2019, before appearing with the reserves. He became the club’s second youngest player when he debuted at 16. He scored his first professional goal in a 2–2 tie against Barcelona and Osasuna on August 31, 2019.
