Background

Myles Parrish is an American singer who is popularly known for his music made with fellow singer Kalin between 2011 and 2015. He was raised by his mother, Debbie, and he completed high school at Dublin High School. In 2010, Parrish started creating YouTube vlogs, where he would upload snippets of his original music. After meeting his future music partner, Kalin, at a party they had both attended, the duo found that they had similar interests and began working on music together. After frequent meet-ups at Parrish’s home for jam sessions, the pair released their first single in 2011 called ‘More Than Friends,’ which became a sensation among their followers within the first night of its release.Motivated by the success of their first single, the newly found R&B duo went on to work on their second single, ‘Summertime Love,’ and released it shortly after their first song. The success of their two hit singles caught the attention of various recording labels from whom they began receiving offers to sign with them. In 2012, Parrish and Kalin released their first Extended Play (EP) called “Chasing Dreams” and “K&M University” in 2013. As they started to become big, the pair signed a deal with Republic Records, with whom they successfully released two additional EPs in 2014, “Chase Dreams” and “Dedication.” The former reached number six on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart. In 2015, the rising singers embarked on their first tour and, within the same year, were nominated as the Next Big Thing at the Teen Choice Awards. However, to the dismay of their loyal fans, the duo announced their split in 2016 due to a few differences they’ve experienced behind closed doors. Parrish released a single titled ‘Don’t Feel the Same’ just a month after their breakup. Despite his split with Kalin, Parrish continued with music and began uploading his music on his self-titled YouTube channel. He also created a second YouTube channel called YBM Vlogs, where he solely uploads lifestyle vlogs. As far as the public knows, Parrish has only been in one relationship in 2016 with social star Tia Valentine.
