Masiela Lusha is an American actress, author, and humanitarian born in Tirana, Albania. She is an only child to parents Max and Daniela Lusha. At the age of seven, Lusha moved to Michigan and began a modeling career, and while modeling and starring in plays, a Hollywood talent agent discovered her. While acting in Los Angeles, Lusha became a published author with her first book of poetry, “Inner Thoughts.”Her first acting gig was in 2000 when she played the character Lisa in the film “Father’s Love.” She then went on to star in one of the episodes of “Lizzie McGuire,” which was her initial role in television productions. From 2002 to 2007, Lusha snagged the main role of Carmen Lopez in the hit television sitcom “George Lopez.” While playing the character, Lusha won ‘Best Leading Young Actress in a Comedy or Drama’ at the Young Artist Awards in 2003 and 2004.Her other acting credits include roles in the films “Blood: The Last Vampire” and “Sharknado: The 4th Awakens,” to name a few, as well as appearances in “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” and “Anger Management.” Lusha also wrote four more collections of poetry entitled “Drinking the Moon,” “Amore Celeste,” “The Call,” and “The Living Air.” She also published a novel, “The Besa,” and two books for children.
