Anthony Ramos is an accomplished stage and film actor. The actor, whose full name is Anthony Paul Ramos Martinez, was born on November 1, 1991, in New York City, New York. Martinez grew up with his mother and siblings in Bushwick, Brooklyn. He has Puerto Rican heritage. During school, he often performed Motown songs with a student group, the Halsey Trio, at school assemblies. After graduating from New Utrecht High School, Martinez was awarded a full scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He graduated from the academy after completing a musical theater program there.Martinez made his stage acting debut in 2011, starring in a stage adaptation of the musical film “Grease” as Sonny LaTierri.
