Take Our Kids to Work Day is an exciting day that gives the children of the U.S. or Canada a glimpse into the working world.This day is also known as Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day. Before, Take Our Kids to Work Day was mostly focused on young girls. This educational program was launched by Ms. Foundation for Women in 1993. The purpose behind this day was to familiarize young girls with the reality of a workplace. Later on, the program also included taking boys to workplaces.In the year 2018, nearly 3.5 million workplaces took part in Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day. This day started as an educational program in the United States and Canada, on which parents could take their kids to work for one day. As a result of this day, children get to learn about the workforce and they can see the different roles that are carried out by people to run a business. They might even find their interest in one of the fields.
